Icons Of Andria

Icons of Andria is a recording project, a studio collaboration between Rodney Sellars of The Year Zero and Ken Negrete & Fabiola Sanchez of Familiar Trees on a Sci-fi concept album. We will be sharing/publishing one song at a time to SoundCloud upon completion. Each song will have corresponding Backstory & Original Artwork by Rodney Sellars (artist/songwriter), which will begin as a line drawing and be colored after a certain amount of plays. The boy’s health was failing when they came across the wreckage of the ancient craft. Andria carefully untangled the ships massive solar sail. As she freed it, the sail unfurled itself high into the air and the ship began to rise from the debris. She quickly carried the boy aboard as the vessel began to drift toward their destination. Though they most likely traveled in a ship, common lore often depicts Andria with wings. The “Sail for Sol” may refer to the ship’s sail itself but most believe it symbolizes a journey to the sun. ‘Sail For Sol’ was the third track shared/published on SoundCloud by Icons Of Andria.
